My research examines social comparison processes on social media, focusing on the cognitive evaluations individuals make during envy-inducing experiences and how they respond to them. Specifically, I investigate the factors that shape whether these experiences lead to positive or negative outcomes. Ultimately, my work seeks to support healthier and more intentional social media use.
